    Prayed Up

Intro:  Gotta stay prayed up               (bom badom badom bom, bom bada bom)
Lord help me now                      (bom badom
On the third day he raised up
                 Because of him I'm found

As I contemplate..... issues..... present and past, it's a wonder to me that I've been able to stand
Almighty counselor who sits high and looks low, He said the best is yet to come because he's the keeper of my soul
So I try not to fret, worry or even be afraid, from the beginning was I shaped and in his image was I made
And for every enemy that rise, they will....... stumble and fall
In the name of Jesus is Victory and on his name will I call

Gotta stay prayed up, Lord help me now
On the third day he raised up, Because of him I'm found

So as I walk through my suf...fer....ings, trails and tribu...la....tions
I do it all with a prayerful mind, and a peace that passes understanding
No weapon formed against me shall prosper, that's the Word of my Heavenly Father
And every tongue that rise up against me...... thou shalt condemn
Many blessings have I been given and I claimed them all by Christ who's risen
To Him be all power and honor, glory and riches And I won't stop now

Gotta stay prayed up, Lord help me now
On the third day he raised up, Because of him I'm found

As the weight on my shoulders get lighter my dreams become closer and brighter
And on your word my soul clings tighter, so stronger I stand and my head held higher
God of the living I'll follow, by grace have I been forgiven and I know
To think to higly of ones self would be shallow
So like a tree by the waters do I grow
    And

I gotta stay prayed up, Lord help me now
On the third day he raised up, Because of him I'm found

    Passed By

    10/14/07

How tragic the life we allowed to pass us by
So selfish, So childish refusing to see eye to eye

How painful when I look back in my minds eye
You were my lady and I was your guy
Woman it seems we often had the same dreams, you and I
Unbreakable the dream team, I believed we could fly
The first time I held you Kissed you I knew you were my life
Let go, for what and why
Who said we had to believe that Lie

How tragic the life we allowed to pass us by
So selfish, So childish refusing to see eye to eye

You were my shield and I was your sword
Together we'd do battle and conquer every war
How foolish of us to let life beat us out
Christ the head of us is the right way out
In each others strength were we both to hide
In each others arms were we both to cry

How tragic the life we allowed to pass us by
So selfish, So childish refusing to see eye to eye

How awsome, how beautiful, how true the love we shared
How distant, how wishful our eyes have grown to stare
How often I wonder, do you wonder? As I think
Could we, possibly stretch out on Faith
How hopeful in my chest my heart yet pounds
To put on your face that beautiful smile

How tragic the life we allowed to pass us by
So selfish, So childish refusing to see eye to eye

How strange the thoughts I had that day
How grand to see a woman pass my way
How do you turn away and deny
Our union predestined through the Heavenly sky
How is it you could not hear my cry
How unfortunate our love did not stand the test time
How oh how and I even ask why
But I guess a life together was not meant for you and I

How tragic the life we allowed to pass us by
So selfish, So childish refusing to see eye to eye

    What It Is

if it's a trail we can hike it
if it has two wheels we can bike it

if it's an allergy we can sneeze it
if it's a pimple we can squeeze it

if it's dew it "covers Dixie"
    if it's Tinker Bell it's a pixie

if it's a breeze it can blow us
if it's the sun it can know us

if it's a song we can sing it
if it flies we can wing it

if it's soda pop then it's drinkable
it might be X-Rated but that's unthinkable

if it's a boat we can sail it
if it's a letter we can mail it

if it's a star we can let it shine
if it's the moon it can make you mine

if it's grass we can rake it
if it's free why not take it

if it's a tide it can ebb
if it's a spider it can web

if it's chocolate we can dip it
if it's a golf ball we can chip it

if it's gum we can chew it
I hope it's love so we can do it

    Waited Impatiently

    HUNNIE BABY SWEETIE PIE
I WAIT IMPATIENTLY TO LOOK INTO YOUR EYES
BUT THE BOTTOM LINE I CAN'T DENY
ANOTHER CHANCE AT CALLING SOMEONE MINE

SOME SAY BETTER TO HAVE HAD AND LOST,
THAN TO NEVER HAVE HAD AT ALL
SO SAD I THINK HUMANITIES FAULT,
    WHEN YOU CAN HAVE SOMEONE
    FOR ONCE AND FOR ALL

SO AS I WAITED PATIENTLY IMPATIENTLY BY THE PHONE
I THOUGHT AS I THOUGHT OF YOU I'D WRITE YOU THIS POEM
GROWING IN LOVE AND HAVING YET TO SEE YOUR FACE
SYMBOLIC TO THAT OF THE KING OF GRACE

SO HUNNIE BABY SWEETIE PIE, I WAIT IMPATIENTLY
    BUT I CAN'T DENY
THE SOUND OF YOUR VOICE GIVES ME A NATURAL HIGH
SO THEY SAY THE WORD TEAM HAS NOT AN I
BUT TO THIER SURPRISE THEY WOULD FIND
IF SPELLED WITH YOU AND I

    BRINGING LIFE TO FANTASIES
HOUSES ON HILLS AND WHITE PICKED FENCES
HOT APPLE PIE AND LEMONADE MIX'EN
TIRE STRINGED SWINGS AND HORSE SHOE PITCH'EN
PADDEL BOAT RIDES IN THE WARMTH OF SPRING TIME
WAITING IMPATIENTLY, BUT THIS ONE THING I CAN'T DENY
I'M SO GLAD TO HAVE YOU IN MY LIFE
    SO HUNNIE BABY SWEETIE PIE
DOES YOUR HAPPILY EVER AFTER MATCH UP WITH MINE?

    Communication

if music is the most universal language
just think of me as one whole note

if science has the most perfect language
    picture me as MC2

since mathmatics can speak to the infinite
imagine me as 1 to the first power

what i mean is      one day
    i'm gonna grab your love
    and you'll be
    satisfied

    Low Down Dirty Shame

    4/2003

Ain't it a shameWhen hate, jealousy and envy dictate your motives
Life lessons should have taught you that it's all poison
Ever since the slave ship's we've sold one another out
For financial stability literally to easy to dirt and not live biblically

Aint' it a shameWhen you're to proud to accept your own faults
You walk in the dead zone trying to shake off the chalk
Backstabbin, finger pointin then you smile in thier face
You steady grabbin, heavy crabbin a disgrace to the human race

Ain't it a shameWhen you're throwing stones and your house is glass
Spreading your wickedness like a rash
In God's eyes we all were created equal
But yet the love of the money, the root of the evils
I love my peoples do or die, but I wonder why we're afraid to let each other fly

Ain't it a shame?  As the world turns the cycle continues to repeat
Having those whom has learn no need for rivals the issues should cease
Truthfully, In life we're only promised one thing
And that's to live and die and that's all plain
But be not discouraged just attempt to win the game
And that's hard enough so why live in such a negative way
Which leaves me questioning AIN'T IT A SHAME?

    Thoughts Of You

     1/08/2008

AS NIGHT GAVE WAY TO MORNING LIGHT
A THOUGHT OF YOU GAVE WAY TO POSSIBILITIES OF NEW LIFE

OF WHAT IN YOU HAVE I FOUND DELIGHT
TENDERNESS OF SPEECH A WOMAN OF CHRIST

INTELLIGENCE ABOUNDS WORDS MINGLED WITH WISDOM
SLOWLY NOW IN CASE I FORGET TO MENTION

    TO LOVE FREELY YOUR ASPIRATIONS
SOME DAY ONE MAN BARRING HESITATIONS

WOW!!! WHAT A WOMAN I DECLARE
ABOUT FIVE FIVE AND SKIN SO FARE
LOVELY GREEN EYES AND HONEY BROWN HAIR

THE SOUND OF YOUR VOICE I FORGET MY EVERY CARE
YOU ARE THE ANSWER TO MY PRAYER

WOW!!! THE THOUGHT OF YOU WARMS MY SOUL
TO SOON....TO THINK.... OF US GROWING OLD?

WOW!!! THE THOUGHT OF YOU AS I HOLD YOU IN MY ARMS
THE SWEET SMELL OF YOUR HAIR AS OUR HEARTS BEAT AS ONE
WALK WITH ME WILL YOU INTO THE HORIZON SUN.

    Fogiving Unforgivable You

    FORGIVING UNFORGIVABLE YOU

    1/16/08 @ 11:14AM

A WORLD TORMENTED CRIMSON STAINED WITH SIN

AT EVERY HENIOUS ACT THE ENEMY FLASHES HIS EVIL GRIN

MEN LOVING MEN AND THE SAME FOR THE OPPOSITE OF THEM

MANY SCATTER TO HIDE FROM THE CORRUPTION WITHIN

BUT YET BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH IN CHRIST

PAID BY BLOOD THE PERFECT SACRAFICE

    FORGIVING UNFORGIVABLE YOU

HE SAID HE’D LOVE ME, CHERISH ME, PROTECT ME

SHE SAID SHE WANTED ME, WOULD HONOR ME, RESPECT ME

HOLY IS THE CEREMONY BROUGHT TOGETHER IN MATRIMONY

AND YET MARRIAGE IS NEVER THE CURE FOR BEING LONELY

TEAR STAINED TRAILS IN THE WAKE OF HEARTBREAKS

UNSTEADY THE FOUNDATIONS WHEN THE EARTHQUAKES

    AND STILL WE MUST LEARN

    FORGIVING UNFORGIVABLE YOU

    BABIES BORN TO UNWED MOTHERS

RAMPED THE VIRAL EPIDEMIC AND BROTHER’S WON’T WEAR RUBBERS

    RODENT AND INSECT INFESTATION

    CHILD NEGLECT OR MOLESTATION

    HOMOCIDE, SUICIDE, GENOCIDE FATHERLESS HOMES

GUNS AND DRUGS LEGALIZED IN OUR STREETS THEY FREELY ROAM

RELIGIOUS WARS SURELY NONE OF IT’S TRULY HOLY

BLOOD OF THE INNOCENT SPILT…..SO COLDLY

    2ND CHRONICLES SEVEN FOURTEEN

    MAN IF CHRISTIAN’S FOUND OUT

    WHAT BEING HUMBLE TRULY MEANS

      FORGIVING UNFORGIVABLE YOU
